These terms apply to all projects unless otherwise stated in your individual quote or written agreement.1. Scope of WorkDom Epoxy & Coatings provides professional epoxy flooring services including, but not limited to:Surface preparationFlake, metallic, and quartz epoxy coating installationCustom designs (if applicable)Job site cleanup and final inspectionPlease note: Epoxy is a thin coating that enhances the appearance and durability of concrete. It does not correct deep low spots or uneven areas unless leveling is included in your quote.2. Project Cost & Payment TermsA 50% deposit is required to secure your project and confirm scheduling.The remaining balance is due upon project completion, before the final walkthrough.Accepted payment methods: Cash, Check, Zelle, or Card (3% fee for card payments).All pricing and alternates will be provided in your estimate.3. Timeline & DelaysProject start and completion dates are estimated based on availability. Delays due to weather, material issues, or unforeseen conditions will be communicated promptly.4. Client ResponsibilitiesClients are expected to:Ensure the job site is accessible during scheduled hoursRemove any vehicles, furniture, or personal items from the work areaDisclose any existing coatings, cracks, or known issues with the floor5. Surface ImperfectionsEpoxy flooring is a handcrafted process applied over concrete. While we aim for a clean and professional finish, minor imperfections (e.g., bubbles, texture inconsistencies, discoloration) may occur. These are not considered defects.Environmental factors such as:Dust, pollen, or flying debrisBugs or small animalsRain or moisture
may impact the final result, especially on open or outdoor areas.No two epoxy floors will look exactly alike.6. Change OrdersAll changes to your project scope must be documented and approved. Additional charges, if applicable, will always be communicated in advance or listed as optional costs in your estimate.7. WarrantyWe offer a 15+ year installation warranty on our epoxy coatings unless otherwise stated. This covers failure due to improper surface preparation or installation.Warranty does not cover:Normal wear and tearImproper maintenance or misuseDamage from heavy equipment, chemicals, excessive water, or impactSub-base failures (e.g., over tile unless removed)UV fading/ambering, especially on light colors8. Cancellation PolicyDeposits are refundable only if cancellation occurs at least 7 days before the start date.Cancellations within 7 days may result in 25–50% non-refundable, based on materials purchased or job size.9. Photo/Video ReleaseBy using our services, you consent to Dom Epoxy capturing and sharing before/after photos or videos of your floor for marketing purposes.10. Limitation of LiabilityWe are not responsible for:Pre-existing surface damageStructural shifting or cracking post-installationDamage caused by third parties after our work is complete11. Dispute ResolutionShould a dispute arise, both parties agree to attempt resolution through direct communication.
